Duties:

• Install glass in windows, skylights, storefronts, and other structures
• Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions
• Remove old or broken glass and prepare surfaces for installation
• Caulk and seal joints to ensure a watertight and airtight seal
• Assemble and fabricate glass components as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks
• Perform trim carpentry work to finish installations
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Lift and carry heavy glass panels and materials as necessary

Experience:

• Previous experience as a glazier or in a related construction field is required
• Familiarity with construction estimating is a plus
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
