We are looking for someone wants to go a little slower and focus on the details and the customer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your craftsmanship and technical skills to ensure precise, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results. Emerald is know for taking on complicated, custom window and door projects in Historic application, commercial applications as well as residential applications. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for interpreting construction plans/work order paperwork, handling materials, and executing installations with efficiency and attention to detail. Responsibilities Install windows, doors, trim carpentry, cabinetry, fixtures, and metal stud framing according to project specifications. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, assembling, caulking, and finishing work. Perform quality control checks on measurements, fitment, and overall installation to meet industry standards. Conduct remodeling tasks including construction painting and handyman repairs as needed on-site. Requirements Skilled in window installation, glass materials handling, glass installation, door installation, and fixture setup. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and fabrication techniques related to carpentry and remodeling. Strong understanding of bending and installing aluminum capping. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during assembly or remodeling projects. Knowledge of caulking techniques, construction painting methods, framing systems, and handyman skills is preferred. Excellent dimensional measurement skills for quality control purposes.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
