Window Installer Crew Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Window Installer Crew to join our team on a subcontractor/1099 basis. This role involves the installation of windows and glass materials, requiring hands-on experience with construction and carpentry. The ideal candidates will be adept at handling power tools, managing glass materials, and working efficiently in a team environment to complete projects safely and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Perform glass and window installation tasks according to project specifications and safety standards. Handle, measure, and install various glass materials with precision. Use power tools safely and effectively during installation processes. Assist in the preparation of work sites, including setting up equipment and ensuring all necessary tools are available. Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Manage the transportation of windows and glass materials using personal trailers or vehicles. Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of materials and use of personal protective equipment. Maintain a clean work environment and ensure tools and materials are organized.

Skills:

Proven experience in glass installation, window installation, or related construction work. Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques relevant to window and glass installation. Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently. Experience handling glass materials with care and precision. Must have own tools and trailer for transportation of windows. Valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Physical stamina to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and perform manual labor as needed.
