This person will be responsible for measuring, handling, and installing shower enclosures, mirrors, and related glass products in residential settings. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works carefully around finished surfaces, and communicates professionally with customers and coworkers. The ideal candidate can complete installations independently, identify potential problems before they become costly, and consistently deliver a clean, finished result. Experience installing storefront glass, windows, or doors is a significant plus and may create opportunities to take on a broader range of projects. Primary Responsibilities Measure and verify openings for shower glass, mirrors, and related products Install a variety of types of shower enclosures and mirrors Protect customers' homes, finished surfaces, and surrounding work areas Troubleshoot installation and service issues Complete adjustments, repairs, and warranty or callback work when necessary Maintain company tools, equipment, vehicles, and installation materials Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, vendors, and other trades Follow company procedures and all applicable safety requirements Additional Experience That Is a Big Plus We're especially interested in candidates who also have experience with one or more of the following: Commercial storefront glass and aluminum systems Residential or commercial window installation Entry or patio door installation Glass replacement and service work Reading plans, elevations, and shop drawings Qualifications Previous shower-glass, mirror, glazing, or closely related installation experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship Ability to troubleshoot field conditions and make sound installation decisions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional communication and customer-service skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver large and heavy glass products, with assistance or appropriate equipment when required Ability to work on ladders and in active construction environments Commitment to following glass-handling and job-site safety procedures What We Value Craftsmanship and attention to detail Reliability and personal accountability Respect for customers and their property Clear, proactive communication Safe and careful material handling A willingness to solve problems and support the team Pride in completing work correctly the first time Compensation and Benefits $26•34 per hour, depending on experience Performance or quality incentives Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) matching Company vehicle or transportation arrangements Company-provided tools, uniforms, phone, or equipment Opportunities to expand into storefront, window, door, and other specialty installations Schedule M-F 8am•5pm Local travel to customer homes and project sites is required
