As an Insulator Improver, youll have opportunities to grow in a team environment while you hone in on and advance your skills in all insulating phases. As an Insulator Improver, you will: Install and remove insulation on ship components, including bulkheads, overheads, piping systems, and machinery Measure, cut, and fabricate insulation materials to reduce heat loss, prevent moisture condensation, and deaden sound Perform related tasks as assigned Requirements Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
3+ years of experience in insulation work on military or commercial vessels
Skills:
+ Ability to read and comprehend specifications and drawings + Knowledge of piping systems and layout patterns Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Must be able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions Must be able to maintain job site cleanliness Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range:
$54558 - $57866 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
