Job Description

NTI Marine is actively seeking experienced Structural Fitters for a project at a local shipyard in Bayou La Batre, Alabama.
Pay & Project Details Pay Rate:
$35.00 per hour
Location:
Bayou La Batre, AL Project Duration:
Expected to last at least 4 months Job Responsibilities Structural Fitters will be responsible for assisting with the assembly and construction of Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes , including: Fitting and assembling structural components Reading and interpreting blueprints and fabrication drawings Measuring, laying out, and aligning structural components Using standard fitting and fabrication tools Ensuring proper fit-up and alignment prior to welding Following all shipyard and project safety requirements Requirements Previous structural fitting or fabrication experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings Experience with structural assembly and fit-up Shipyard, fabrication, or heavy industrial experience preferred Must be dependable and safety-conscious Apply Today For immediate consideration, please email your resume to mrichie@nti-tech.com .
