Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Steel Fabrication Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and welding steel components with precision and efficiency, ensuring all projects meet quality standards and safety regulations. Your expertise in fabrication techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical assembly will be essential in delivering top-tier steel structures for various construction and industrial applications. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble steel components. Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and structural steel parts. Perform
MIG, TIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and <
LOCATION
> welding to join steel components according to ASME codes & standards. Operate cranes, forklifts, rigging gear, and other lifting equipment safely to move heavy steel parts during fabrication and assembly. Measure dimensions precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure accuracy in fabrication. Conduct pipe threading, ductwork fabrication, and assembly of mechanical systems as required for project specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times; perform routine inspections of tools and equipment. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure fabrication meets design specifications and deadlines. Experience Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety procedures in industrial environments. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques, and <

> welding processes. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Competence in operating power tools such as grinders, drills, plasma cutters, press brakes, and hand tools for fabrication tasks. Knowledge of rigging practices for lifting heavy steel components safely using cranes or forklifts. Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, machining operations, soldering, assembly processes, and manufacturing standards. Ability to work effectively on construction sites or manufacturing floors while maintaining high safety standards.
