▶ Apply Ironworker Scottsdale, Arizona - Posted on August 5, 2026 Published By Shannon Conquest Trillium Construction is seeking a Journeyman Ironworker near Scottsdale, AZ for the ground-up construction of a new Flexjet private aviation terminal and aircraft maintenance hangar. This role requires a well-rounded structural ironworker capable of reading blueprints, working safely at heights, and installing structural steel and miscellaneous metals in a commercial construction environment. Key Responsibilities
- Erect and install structural steel columns, beams, joists, trusses, and miscellaneous metals.
- Read and interpret structural steel drawings, erection plans, and layout information.
- Connect and align structural steel using bolts, drift pins, spud wrenches, and other ironworking tools.
- Assist with steel decking installation and structural framing as required.
- Install stairs, handrails, embeds, support steel, and miscellaneous metal components.
- Operate aerial lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, and other equipment safely.
- Signal crane operators during steel picks and maintain safe rigging practices.
- Verify plumb, level, and alignment of structural members prior to final connections.
- Perform bolt-up, torqueing, and other final connection work to project specifications.
