Job Summary MWC Group is seeking experienced PEMB Installers / Steel Erectors for projects throughout California and other project locations. We are looking for experienced construction professionals with a strong background in pre-engineered metal buildings, structural steel erection or related steel construction . Responsibilities Erect pre-engineered metal buildings and structural steel. Install columns, beams, rafters, purlins, girts and related components. Install metal wall panels, insulated panels, roofing and trim. Perform structural steel layout, bolting, fitting and alignment. Assist with rigging and hoisting steel and building components. Operate boom lifts, scissor lifts and other construction equipment when qualified. Read and work from erection drawings and construction plans. Perform field welding when properly qualified. Maintain safe, organized work areas. Follow project specifications, OSHA requirements and MWC Group safety procedures. Qualifications 3+ years of PEMB installation, structural steel erection or ironwork experience. Demonstrated ability to read erection drawings. Experience with structural steel and/or PEMB systems. Rigging and steel erection experience. Ability to work safely at heights. Experience operating boom lifts and scissor lifts preferred.

Must be able to pass federal and project-specific background checks. Prevailing Wage A significant portion of MWC Group's field work is performed on federal, state and other public works projects. Employees assigned to applicable projects will be paid in accordance with the applicable prevailing-wage determination and classification. Work Locations & Travel MWC Group's work is primarily located throughout Southern, Central and Northern California , with projects in other states as well. Current out-of-state projects include Oahu, Hawaii; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and Fort Smith, Arkansas . Employees should be willing and able to travel and work out of town as project assignments require. Additional states and project locations may be added as our workload expands. Background Screening Because MWC Group performs federal and other secured government work, employees assigned to applicable projects must be able to pass required federal, government and project-specific background checks .
