Job Description
Overview Manufacturer of wooden crates, skids and packaging materials for shipping Responsibilities Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble wood components. Measure, cut, assemble according to drawings and bill of material list Be able work with a group or solo Ensure adherence to power tool safety standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. (Safety is our number one priority) Requirements Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines such as Saws and Nail guns. Basic Math skills fractions/decimals as to calculate yield from raw materials Knowledge of wood construction materials including Plywood, Lumber Tape measure skills Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Prior experience in construction will be a benefit Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality in all tasks performed.
