Qualifications & Skills:

Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field required California SLPA license in good standing Prior school-based experience preferred, especially working with K-12 students Solid understanding of speech and language development in school-aged children Capable of collaborating effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy services to students under supervision of a licensed SLP Implement individualized treatment plans and support academic communication goals Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings as required Adapt strategies for varied grade levels, addressing needs from kindergarteners to high school seniors Communicate regularly with supervising clinicians and educational teams for coordinated support Contribute to an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere that empowers all students
