Job Description
Join our team at DeAngelis Iron Work, Inc., a renowned company with over 57 years of experience in fabricating high-quality, custom metal work. As a Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our service-oriented business, specializing in architectural metals and historical restoration of ornamental iron work. Your precision and expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects involving various metals such as wrought iron, stainless steel, bronze, brass, and aluminum.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize welding techniques including Mig and Stick welding to fabricate metal components according to specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Measure and inspect fabricated parts using micrometers to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with the team to interpret blueprints and technical drawings for fabrication.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following established procedures and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator or similar role in metal fabrication.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Proficiency in welding techniques such as Mig and Stick welding.
- Familiarity with machining processes for metal fabrication.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in measuring components with micrometers.
- Drug test and DOT physical will be required.
