Avionics Technician Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair aircraft avionics and electrical systems Install, modify, and upgrade avionics components and wiring Perform operational checks and system testing Read and interpret wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals Complete maintenance documentation and repair records Support aircraft modification and upgrade programs Maintain tools, equipment, and test devices Work in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of aircraft avionics experience Experience troubleshooting aircraft electrical and avionics systems Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation Knowledge of FAR Parts 43, 91, 135, and 145 Ability to work overtime as required Preferred Experience Experience with: Flight Management Systems (FMS) Autopilot Systems Navigation Systems Communication Systems EFIS Systems Aircraft Electrical Systems Aircraft Lighting Systems Pitot Static Systems Preferred but not required: Bench repair experience FCC License A&P License Why Work With VP Aviation?
