Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Ironworker to oversee steel erection projects on-site. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in ironwork, welding, reading blueprints, and the ability to take initiative in coordinating required materials, tools, and equipment to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Ironwork steel erection and installation. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate execution. Perform necessary welding activities on-site. Maintain and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and OSHA standards. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades. Continues learning and teaching other crew members to maintain high-quality workmanship. Ensure job site efficiency by managing materials, tools, and workflow. Conduct site inspections and address any structural or safety concerns.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ironworker. Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural drawings. Strong understanding of rigging, welding, and steel erection procedures. Ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and operate equipment safely. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills.
