Job Description
Sheet Metal Workers Ultimate LLC is urgently seeking to hire experienced Commercial Sheet Metal workers for full-time work around the Kansas City Metropolitan. The pay range for this position is $23-$28 per hour based on experience. All applicants must have their own personal vehicle and be ready to work hard outside for 40+ hours a week. Company paid health benefits and pay will be weekly for employee convenience and there is no one week delay! Job Responsibilities + Sheet metal fabrication and installation on construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specifications + Lays out, cuts, shapes and constructs articles of sheet metal, including black and galvanized iron and steel, tin, copper, brass, zinc, and stainless steel. + Punches or drills holes for rivets, bolts or metal screws. + Grinds and files seams, joints and rough surfaces; burrs and turns edges. + Fabricates or repairs such sheet metal articles as, gutters, flashing, louvers, ventilators, ducts, hoods, sinks, steam tables, trays, lockers, shelves, fire doors and metal windows. + Lay new materials + Inspect sheet metal for damage and perform any needed repairs + Spray treatment chemicals on roofs and buildings to seal them from water and weather + Use hand tools such as hammers, electric power tools and snips Standards for Ultimate Employees + Be professional at all times + Valid License + Personal Reliable Transportation + Dress accordingly + Perform the task at hand to the best of your abilities + Show up on time everyday + Show up everyday with a great attitude + All hand tools required to perform job Job Skills & Qualifications + High school education or GED + Construction safety certification such as OSHA training is a plus + Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending and lifting heavy loads + Previous experience in roofing, construction or related scope of work + Communication and teamwork skills including an openness to receiving feedback from superiors + General knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques and specialties + Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work + Ability to read and follow instructions from blueprints, drawings and diagrams + Endurance to spend hours working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or cold Why work for Ultimate?
