Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw metal materials into precise, durable components through various fabrication techniques. Your expertise will contribute to the creation and maintenance of high-quality metal structures, ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellence in every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about metalwork, mechanical systems, and facility maintenance to showcase their craftsmanship and technical knowledge in a fast-paced environment. Pay is based on skills and experience. Duties Operate and set up various fabrication equipment, including welders, presses, and CNC equipment to shape and assemble metal components. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately produce parts according to specifications. Perform welding using different techniques such as MIG and TIG welding to join metal pieces securely. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling heavy materials and operating potentially hazardous machinery. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to quality standards. Support facility maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing repairs, and general upkeep to ensure a safe and functional work environment. Skills Welding skills with experience in various welding techniques and processes on steel. Fabrication skills including framing, sheet metal forming, cutting, and grinding. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Read a tape measure. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration. Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members when necessary. TIG welding experience is a plus. Press brake experience is a plus. Aluminum welding experience is a plus.
