About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our production team. In this role, you will transform raw materials into high-precision components, utilizing your expertise in metal bending and mechanical assembly to ensure our products meet rigorous quality standards. Responsibilities Configure and manage metal forming machinery, including press brakes and benders, to achieve precise production outcomes. Execute complex metal shaping tasks by accurately interpreting technical blueprints and engineering drawings. Drive assembly efficiency by utilizing advanced hand and power tools to construct finished components. Ensure product integrity by performing rigorous dimensional inspections with calipers and precision measuring instruments. Optimize production workflows by performing routine machine adjustments to maintain consistent output quality. Foster a high-performance environment by maintaining an organized workspace and collaborating with cross-functional teams to hit daily throughput targets. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication or mechanical assembly. Demonstrated proficiency in operating press brakes and industrial bending equipment. Strong ability to translate technical blueprints into finished physical products. Physical capability to stand for long durations and lift up to 50 pounds. Exceptional mechanical aptitude and a commitment to precision. Preferred Skills Specialized experience in sheet metal fabrication techniques. Practical knowledge of welding or tack welding processes. Certification or operational experience with forklifts or overhead cranes. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
