Category Nursing - RN - MS Oncology Job Type Contract Take on a rewarding opportunity supporting patients in a dynamic oncology setting. Multiple roles are now available for RNs with a passion for providing exceptional care to individuals facing cancer. Schedule:
13-week assignment Choice of day (07:00 - 19:30) or night (19:00 - 07:30) shifts Flexible schedule options: 4x12-hour shifts or 3x12-hour shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
Active NC or Compact RN license Minimum of 1 year recent experience in medical-surgical oncology nursing Current BLS and PALS certifications required Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking abilities Positive attitude and adaptability in fast-paced clinical situations Willingness to work with new teams and patients with diverse needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based oncology nursing care Administer chemotherapy and monitor for side effects Conduct patient assessments, manage symptoms, and document interventions promptly Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams Support patients and their families throughout treatment, offering education and emotional guidance Ensure patient safety, coordinate care activities, and uphold infection prevention standards
