Job Description
Premier Rustproofing and Rust Repair in Bow, NH is looking for a skilled Welder Technician to help restore vehicles affected by rust and corrosion. This position focuses on welding, fabrication, and structural metal repairs that return vehicles to a safe and durable condition. You'll work alongside an experienced team repairing vehicle structures, replacing damaged metal, and fabricating panels when needed. If you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing clean, accurate welds, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do Perform MIG welding on automotive sheet metal and structural components. Remove rust-damaged sections and install replacement panels. Fabricate metal pieces to match repair specifications. Repair floor pans, rocker panels, frame sections, and underbody components. Prepare surfaces using grinders, cutters, and other fabrication equipment. Verify that completed repairs meet quality and safety standards. Work closely with technicians throughout the repair process. Keep tools, equipment, and the workspace clean and organized. What We're Looking For Previous experience with MIG welding. Ability to read measurements and perform precise metal repairs. Experience using fabrication and metalworking tools. Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail. Auto body or automotive repair experience is preferred but not required.
