Job Description
Job Description Our self-perform teams complete a wide range of construction activities requiring physical labor on active job sites. Team members contribute to the successful delivery of projects through skilled, safe, and efficient work. Metal Building Erector assembles prefabricated metal buildings according to drawings and specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment. Steel Erectors install, place, align and reinforce steel structures and frameworks. This involves working with steel beams, steel girders, columns and a variety of tools and heavy machinery. Assemble scaffold and steel structural components. Installs insulating materials per the drawings and specifications. Installs sheet metal wall and roof panels to framework. Installs building sheet metal trim. Bolts steel frame members together. Attaches wire and insulating materials to framework. Bolts sheet metal panels to framework. Trims excess sheet metal, using cutting torch, power saw, and tin snips Erects frame of building, using hoist.
