Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on diverse metal materials with precision, following detailed technical drawings and blueprints. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to guide welding and fabrication processes. Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment to prepare materials for welding. Maintain compliance with American Welding Society (AWS) standards and safety protocols at all times. Use hand tools and measuring instruments to verify dimensions, alignment, and quality of welds. Conduct fabrication tasks including sheet metal work, assembly, and metal material handling. Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge and fabrication expertise. Ensure proper use of welding techniques such as gas metal arc welding (GMAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), and FCAW. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety procedures during operations. Skills Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols.
