Job Description

Overview We are seeking highly skilled TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welders to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise and high-quality welds on various metal materials, ensuring adherence to safety standards and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in metal fabrication, interpretation of mechanical blueprints, and proficiency with a range of welding techniques including
TIG, MIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding). This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to complex projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety. Responsibilities Perform TIG welding on diverse metal materials with precision, following detailed technical drawings and blueprints. Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to guide welding and fabrication processes. Operate power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment to prepare materials for welding. Maintain compliance with American Welding Society (AWS) standards and safety protocols at all times. Use hand tools and measuring instruments to verify dimensions, alignment, and quality of welds. Conduct fabrication tasks including sheet metal work, assembly, and metal material handling. Collaborate with team members on complex projects requiring mechanical knowledge and fabrication expertise. Ensure proper use of welding techniques such as gas metal arc welding (GMAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), and FCAW. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety procedures during operations. Skills Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of safety protocols. Proficiency in various welding techniques including
TIG, MIG
(Metal Inert Gas), FCAW, SMAW, and stick welding. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical schematics accurately. Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise fabrication. Mechanical knowledge related to metal fabrication, machining, plasma cutting, and assembly processes. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and fabrication shop equipment. Strong understanding of AWS standards for quality assurance in welding practices. Experience working with sheet metal fabrication and mechanical blueprint interpretation. Ability to perform shop math calculations necessary for fabrication accuracy. Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites, welding environments, and equipment operation.
