About the Role As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a critical role in our production process by transforming raw materials into high-quality components. You will utilize your expertise in MIG and TIG welding to ensure structural integrity and precision, directly contributing to the reliability of our finished products. Responsibilities Execute precise welding operations using various techniques including gas tungsten arc and metal arc processes to meet strict production specifications. Interpret complex mechanical blueprints and weld symbology to ensure accurate assembly and fitment of metal components. Manage weld parameters such as voltage and amperage to prevent material distortion, expansion, or shrinkage. Perform post-weld finishing, including grinding and surface preparation, to achieve high-quality aesthetic and functional standards. Maintain welding equipment and assist in the design of custom fixturing to optimize production efficiency. Conduct thorough quality inspections by comparing finished parts against technical drawings and samples. Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot assembly issues and perform necessary repairs to keep operations running smoothly. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of hands-on experience with aluminum MIG and TIG welding. Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
