9643461-44094 Job Description Step into a meaningful contract role supporting young learners as an Intervention Specialist near Willoughby, OH. Two immediate openings are available to serve K-2nd grade students, with classrooms held to an 8-student maximum, allowing for impactful individualized instruction. Youll be part of a dedicated team, creating a supportive learning environment for students with mild to moderate or moderate to severe needs in Geauga County. Both positions are full-time, with a schedule of 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Fridaytotaling 35 hours per week. The assignment runs from now until May 31st, providing an ideal opportunity to make a real difference over the course of the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with K-2nd grade students Proven ability to collaborate with fellow educators and support staff Expertise in individualized education plan (IEP) development and implementation Flexibility and resourcefulness in adapting to students diverse needs Strong communication skills with students, families, and colleagues

Role Responsibilities:
