9643461-44095 Job Description Make a real difference in students lives by supporting their growth as an Intervention Specialist in a welcoming elementary environment. Two dedicated professionals are needed to work with K-2nd grade students, ensuring that each child receives the individualized attention and support they deserve. Class sizes are capped at 8, creating an engaging space for both teaching and learning. The contract runs from ASAP through May 31st, with a consistent schedule of 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, providing 35 hours per week. Available positions include one opening for a mild-moderate Intervention Specialist (IST) and another for a moderate-severe IST. Youll have the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team, making a lasting impact on young learners.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

Experience or licensure as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist Understanding of the needs of mild-moderate or moderate-severe students Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual needs
