Metal Fabricator Flannery Trim is seeking a dependable and versatile Metal Fabricator to join our production team. This position will primarily involve saw work, along with supporting welding and other fabrication operations. The right candidate must be willing to shift between responsibilities as production needs change, communicate effectively, and work toward the goals of the entire team.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Responsibilities Operate straight, chop, and miter saws to make precise cuts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine fabrication requirements. Set up and reset dies on punch presses and jigs used with saws. Use grinding equipment to prepare surfaces for welding. Assist welders and machine operators with production orders. Move raw materials, fabricated parts, and finished products throughout the fabrication area. Perform basic maintenance on saws, punch presses, shears, and roll formers. Communicate job status, production issues, and material needs to coworkers and supervisors. Move between tasks and work areas as customer orders and production priorities change. Help wherever needed to keep orders moving and support the production team. Required Qualifications At least two years of professional work experience. At least two years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing. Experience operating saws, grinders, and basic power tools. Ability to read blueprints and machine drawings. Experience operating a sit-down forklift. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to complete tasks with limited supervision. Willing to communicate, accept direction, and work cooperatively with others. Flexible and willing to take on different responsibilities based on production needs. Able to follow established safety, incident-reporting, and emergency procedures. Preferred Experience Experience working with aluminum. MIG or TIG welding experience. Laser welding, cutting, or cleaning experience. Technical school education or training related to fabrication or manufacturing. Physical and Safety Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Ability to push or pull up to 200 pounds. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds overhead. Ability to swing an eight-pound sledgehammer. Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout an eight-hour shift. Ability to climb ladders and safely enter and exit a sit-down forklift. Ability to wear required safety equipment, including gloves and hearing and eye protection.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
