Landscape Designer Summit Landscape Management - 4.0 Marne, MI Job Details Full-time $25 - $33 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount Life insurance Referral program Retirement plan Qualifications Outdoor work High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving Drafting Full Job Description The Landscape Designer is responsible for meeting with potential customers, obtaining the pertinent information needed to determine landscaping needs, and producing landscape designs to customer specifications using CAD, LandFX, and/or related CAD software. Fills snow removal position during snow season.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Meets with potential customers, either at Summit or at clients' site, to introduce client to Summit products or to obtain pertinent information needed to determine and estimate landscaping needs. Uses CAD software or LandFX to create landscape designs and plans. Produces quality landscape design utilizing supporting materials such as sketches, elevations, and rendered plans. Creates designs within budget parameters and on a timely basis. Interprets design drawings and converts to proposal. Completes all supporting documentation and invoicing. Provides designs, materials list and cost estimate to customers in a timely manner. Coordinates delivery or pick-up of materials and follows up to ensure complete satisfaction of service and materials. May coordinate subcontractor and vendor schedules for work completion. Interacts professionally with all clients, subcontractors, vendors and coworkers. Fills snow removal position during snow season and perform all associated duties. Flexes work schedule as business demands. Reports to work on time each day, identifies and suggests job improvements, and strives for quality. Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Experience drafting using CAD / LandFX or related software. Design experience and ability required. Knowledge of landscape terminology and applicable plant and construction materials preferred. Valid driver license
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the position can be exposed to outdoor environmental conditions including extreme cold conditions. Heavy lifting and bending may be required. Must be able to lift and move minimum of 50 pounds, including bags of salt and machinery such as snow blowers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent required.
