A knowledge of horticulture, plant materials, and landscape design theory a plus.
Qualifications:
Excellent creative skills and ability to translate customer requirements into design. Organized and detail oriented. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the principles, theories, and practices of landscape design. Knowledge of natural and environmental characteristics of the site to include soils, topography, drainage, and vegetation specifically for the Bryan-College Station area. Knowledge of trees and ornamental plant material specifically for the Bryan-College Station area. Basic knowledge of proper maintenance and care techniques for specific plants. Proficiency in design software, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive (Knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Photoshop/InDesign is a plus). Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to read, write and understand construction drawings, design documents, and plans. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with clients and team members. Impeccable manners and commitment to quality. Must be punctual and maintain a professional appearance. Pay:
