If you are an experienced Boiler Lift Operator or have mobile‑equipment experience in an industrial setting, we would love to talk to you about joining our Moundville, AL team. Day in the Life As a Boiler Lift Operator, you will support the flow of lumber throughout the mill by safely operating forklifts and other mobile equipment. Your daily work includes maintaining lumber storage runs, continuously loading and unloading kilns, rotating lumber inventory, and feeding lumber to the Planer Mill. You will also help maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris and working collaboratively with team members across the mill. This role plays a vital part in supporting smooth mill operations and ensuring efficient kiln and boiler processes. Key Responsibilities Maintain lumber pack storage runs and rotate inventory from newest to oldest. Continuously load and unload kilns. Feed the Planer Mill with the required lumber. Safely operate forklifts and other mobile equipment. Remove debris throughout the mill to support a safe work environment. Work collaboratively with team members across the facility. Follow all safety requirements, including PPE usage and adherence to lockout procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the Boiler Superintendent/Supervisor.
