OILKLEEN

is seeking a mechanically skilled and dependable Oil Flushing Field Service Technician to support specialized oil-flushing, hydraulic, lubrication, and filtration projects for U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Government, Marine, Power-Generation, and Industrial customers. This position is based from our Suffolk, Virginia facility and includes regular travel to customer and project locations throughout the United States, with occasional overseas assignments. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on mechanical work, can adapt to changing field conditions, and takes pride in completing demanding projects safely and professionally. Previous oil-flushing experience is preferred but not required.

will provide specialized training to candidates who have strong mechanical ability, a good work ethic, and relevant industrial, marine, hydraulic, diesel, piping, or equipment-maintenance experience. Primary Responsibilities Set up, operate, monitor, and break down high-velocity oil-flushing and filtration equipment. Install and remove temporary hoses, piping, manifolds, filters, pumps, valves, fittings, and instrumentation. Assist with flushing hydraulic, lubrication, fuel, and related mechanical systems. Operate pumps, heaters, filtration units, vacuum dehydrators, and oil-purification equipment. Monitor pressure, temperature, flow, cleanliness, and equipment operating conditions. Collect oil samples and assist with particle-count and cleanliness testing. Inspect hoses, fittings, pumps, filters, and related equipment before and during operation. Troubleshoot leaks, flow restrictions, equipment problems, and changing field conditions. Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, cleaning, maintenance, and minor repairs. Maintain accurate operating logs, inspection records, photographs, and daily work documentation. Follow lockout/tagout, confined-space, fall-protection, PPE, and shipboard safety requirements. Keep company tools, equipment, work areas, and service vehicles clean and organized. Work cooperatively with

supervisors, technicians, shipboard personnel, shipyards, and government representatives. Travel to project locations and remain on assignment for extended periods when required. Preferred Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful: Industrial or marine mechanical maintenance Hydraulic or lubrication systems Pumps, valves, piping, hoses, and fittings Diesel engines or heavy equipment Shipboard maintenance or ship repair Oil filtration, purification, or flushing Millwright, pipefitting, or mechanical installation Power plants, manufacturing facilities, or industrial field service U.S. Navy, Coast Guard, merchant marine, or other military mechanical experience Minimum Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized oil-flushing procedures. Ability to use common hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measuring equipment. Ability to follow written procedures, technical instructions, safety requirements, and supervisor direction. Willingness and ability to travel regularly for project assignments. Availability to work overtime, weekends, night shifts, and changing schedules when projects require it. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Reliable transportation to OILKLEEN's Suffolk facility. Ability to pass required pre-employment and customer-mandated screening. Ability to satisfy U.S. military installation and customer access requirements. Ability to work in the United States without employment sponsorship. Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively as part of a field team. Physical and Work Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work in tight or restricted spaces. Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and work on industrial or shipboard equipment for extended periods. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in changing temperatures and weather conditions. Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hard hat, protective footwear, hearing protection, gloves, and respiratory protection when required.
