CAT 160M
motor grader to maintain the Manh Choh haul road Maintain a safe, smooth, and consistent running surface for continuous heavy-haul traffic. Maintain proper road crown, drainage, shoulders, intersections, and turnouts. Correct washboarding, potholes, rutting, loose material, and other road hazards. Perform snow removal and winter road maintenance. Complete equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Communicate effectively by radio and work safely around active haul traffic. Operate other equipment when operationally necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Abilities Strong, verifiable motor-grader experience.
CAT 160M
experience preferred. Experience maintaining haul roads, mine roads, highways, or similar heavy-use roads. Ability to assess road conditions and work independently. Understanding of road crown, drainage, material control, and proper grading techniques. Ability to work extended shifts in extreme weather and changing road conditions. Willingness and ability to work long hours in all weather conditions Willingness to adhere strictly to safety regulations and company policies. The ability to lift 50 lbs Experience Proven experience as a grader operator required Proven experience operating road construction and maintenance equipment Prior experience in a mine setting is preferred, but not required High school diploma or equivalent, additional technical or vocational training a plus
