This is not standard flatwork—our projects include tight-access sites, steep hillsides, and complex foundation systems . You'll be working on projects that require precision, problem-solving, and the ability to operate in environments where "standard operators" typically can't. What You'll Be Doing Operate excavators, loaders, and specialized equipment for: Foundation and basement excavation Hillside and slope excavation Trenching, grading, and site prep Perform tight-access excavation using track-mounted equipment in confined spaces Assist with drilling operations, piers, tiebacks, and earth retention systems Support foundation work, underpinning, and structural excavation Participate in landslide repair, slope stabilization, and soil remediation projects Execute drainage and waterproofing excavation to prevent water intrusion and structural issues Work on retaining wall excavation and preparation Perform cut & fill operations, soil removal, and hauling Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites Ideal Candidate 2-5+ years experience operating excavators (more for senior roles) Experience with hillside work, grading, or foundation excavation Comfortable working in: Steep slopes Tight-access / zero-lot-line sites Uneven or unstable terrain Strong awareness of safety and jobsite coordination Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Bonus Skills (Highly Valued) Drilling, shoring, or underpinning experience Retaining walls / earth retention systems Drainage systems or waterproofing work Experience working with engineers or structural plans CDL or hauling experience Hazwoper or OSHA certifications

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
