Stockton, CA Pay:
$22.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (Weekends and overtime as needed) Position Summary Balance Staffing is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Excavator Operator to join a fast-paced recycling operation in Stockton, CA. This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, processing materials, and supporting daily yard operations while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate an excavator in a fast-paced industrial yard. Sort, load, and move materials efficiently. Feed processing equipment to maintain production flow. Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns. Work closely with yard personnel and management to support daily operations. Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures. Assist with additional yard and transportation-related tasks as needed. Qualifications Previous experience operating an excavator is required. Experience in recycling, scrap metal, construction, demolition, or heavy equipment operations is preferred. Strong commitment to workplace safety and equipment care. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Ability to pass a pre-employment screening. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

$22.00 per hour
