Job Description

Seasonal Snow Plow Operator Wanted Town of Somers Public Works Department
POSITION JOB
Operate a non-CDL plow truck to plow and salt roads
JOB DESCRIPTION
Must safely and efficiently, operate a truck equipped with a snowplow and Sander.
PAY RATE
$25.00 per hour
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
 Valid Driver's License  Clean Driving History  Experience in Municipal and/or Commercial Plow Operation preferred but will train  Able to safely and properly operate snow removal equipment  Be ready for duty when winter storms are possible  Be able to work safely and efficiently for long periods at all hours of the day or night  Stand, walk, lift, reach, bend, and squat in the performance of job duties.  Tolerate frequent exposure to extreme weather conditions including cold, rain, and snow, for periods in excess of two hours.
