Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of construction machinery and heavy equipment to support building projects, infrastructure development, and site preparation. Your expertise will help ensure efficient project progress while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your mechanical knowledge, and contribute to the successful completion of construction initiatives. Duties Operate a wide range of construction equipment including skid steer, excavators, , excavators, truck and trailers (Class A CDL is a plus), roll-off trailers, with precision and safety. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and other construction machinery to ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety regulations and occupational safety standards while operating heavy equipment on construction sites. Assist with site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and moving earth or debris. Coordinate with project managers and team members to execute tasks efficiently while adhering to project timelines. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections in compliance with company policies. Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery including skid steer, excavators, and other related equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing basic repairs on construction machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving large trucks pulling trailers. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety regulations and occupational safety standards. Knowledge of construction materials handling including the use of machinery and tools for various site needs. Excellent understanding of construction procedures and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
