The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating compact equipment and agricultural machinery safely, efficiently, and with care. This role supports daily site, land-clearing, material-handling, and farm-related operations while helping keep equipment productive and well maintained. Duties Operate skid steers and attachments such as buckets, pallet forks, grapples, brush cutters, augers, trenchers, and hydraulic breakers. Operate farm and light heavy equipment, including tractors, front-end loaders, excavators, trailers, implements, and similar machinery as needed. Load, move, spread, stack, and grade materials including dirt, gravel, mulch, debris, hay, feed, and equipment. Perform land and property work such as brush clearing, mowing, grading, digging, trenching, fence-line preparation, and site cleanup. Safely load and unload equipment and materials from trailers and work vehicles. Complete daily pre-operation inspections and basic preventive maintenance, including checking fluids, grease points, tires/tracks, attachments, and safety equipment. Report mechanical issues, damage, and needed repairs promptly. Work with supervisors and team members to complete jobs on schedule and maintain an organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures, equipment operating guidelines, and applicable jobsite regulations. Assist with training new operators and laborers when needed. Requirements Proven experience operating skid steers and compact equipment; experience with common attachments is strongly preferred. Experience operating tractors, loaders, implements, or other farm-type equipment is preferred. Ability to grade, move materials, clear brush, load trailers, and perform general equipment-related jobsite tasks. Basic understanding of routine equipment maintenance and safe operating practices. CDL or experience pulling equipment trailers is preferred, but not required. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain. Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Must be physically capable of climbing on and off equipment, handling attachments, and performing basic maintenance tasks.
