Job Description

APR Towing & Recovery is looking for a dependable Light-Duty Tow Truck Driver to join our growing team. Towing experience is preferred, but it is NOT essential. If you have a strong driving record, are reliable, professional, mechanically minded and genuinely willing to learn, we are prepared to train the right person.
THE POSITION
This is an overnight position , covering approximately: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM Weekend overnight availability will also be required as part of the schedule. We need someone who is comfortable working independently overnight and can be trusted to represent APR professionally when dealing with customers, police departments, motor clubs and other partners.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Operate light-duty tow trucks and flatbeds safely and professionally Respond to dispatched towing and roadside-assistance calls Safely load, secure, transport and unload vehicles Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch Complete required job documentation and vehicle-condition photos Perform basic roadside assistance where required Conduct pre/post-trip checks and report vehicle or equipment issues Keep your assigned truck clean, fueled and ready for service Follow APR safety procedures and operating standards
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experienced tow operators are strongly encouraged to apply. However, we'll also consider someone without towing experience who has the right attitude and driving background.
You must be:
Reliable and punctual Comfortable working overnight shifts Available for scheduled weekend overnight work A safe and responsible driver Professional with customers Able to work independently Willing to learn Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions Physically capable of performing normal towing and roadside duties Able to meet applicable driving, medical and company requirements A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are required. Starting rate will depend on towing experience, driving experience and overall capability. WHY APR?
