Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Equipment Operator and play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of construction machinery across diverse project sites. In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and trucks, to support construction activities from site preparation to material handling. Your expertise will help us maintain high safety standards while delivering quality results on time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge machinery and contribute to impactful infrastructure projects. Water and Sewer Utilities experience required. Duties Operate construction machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and trucks with precision and safety awareness Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment like loaders, forklifts and roll-off trucks Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist with site setup, grading, excavation, loading/unloading materials, and site cleanup activities Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines effectively Conduct daily safety checks and document operational logs for accountability and maintenance scheduling Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as bulldozers, loaders, excavators, or similar equipment Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and routine equipment maintenance procedures Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience in commercial truck driving preferred Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and occupational safety regulation compliance Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in outdoor environments for extended periods Strong understanding of hand tools and basic mechanical troubleshooting skills Prior construction site experience is highly desirable; certification in heavy machinery is a plus Must be able to get on a military base Water and Sewer Utilities experience required Join us in building the future! Pay:
