Job Description

Texas Gulf Recycling is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator / Class A CDL Driver to support daily operations at our waste and recycling facility. This is a full-time, on-site position offering $25-$30 per hour , with housing available for qualified candidates. Key Responsibilities Operate loaders, excavators, skid steers, and Class A commercial trucks. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections. Transport materials safely and efficiently on-site and on Texas highways. Load, move, sort, and process waste and recyclable materials. Communicate effectively via two-way radio and work closely with team members. Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance staff. Maintain equipment service records and ensure scheduled maintenance is completed. Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all company safety procedures. Qualifications Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record. Experience operating heavy equipment in an industrial, recycling, construction, or similar environment. Strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality.
