Sage Demolition is looking for a dependable, experienced heavy equipment operator to run machinery on a variety of demolition projects — from single-family homes to large commercial and industrial structures.

Pay:

$25/hr - $40/hr, based on experience Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, skid steers, etc.) on demolition job sites Perform demolition work on structures ranging from residential homes to large commercial/industrial buildings Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks Coordinate with site supervisors and crew to maintain safe, efficient job site operations Sort and manage debris/materials as needed on-site Efficiently load and manage trucks to facilitate removal of materials from job site Help line out laborers and crew on job site Required Proven experience operating heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, or similar) Drivers license and clean driving record (MVR review required) Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen & adhere to company drug & alcohol policy Valid DOT Medical certificate Strong sense of punctuality and reliability Ability to work in outdoor, active construction/demolition environments Preferred Familiarity with demolition or construction job site operations Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment (crushers, bulldozers, etc) Proficient in Spanish Core Competencies Equipment Handling & Precision Problem Solving & Decision Making Safety-First Mindset Clear Communication Time & Priority Management What We Offer Health Insurance (70% of premium for employee) 401K Matching 7 Paid Holidays PTO Boot & Clothing Stipend Monday - Thursday schedule with the option to work Fridays when desired
