Job Description
Job description: Looking for Operators Who Know How to Move Dirt and Get Work Done We're a Utah-based excavation and civil construction company building commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects across the region. From site development and underground utilities to grading and concrete work, we handle the groundwork that every successful project depends on. We're looking for experienced Equipment Operators who take pride in running machines the right way, working safely, and helping crews stay productive. If you know your way around dozers, loaders, excavators, skid steers, backhoes, or scrapers and you want to work with a solid crew that values hard work and reliability we want to hear from you. What You'll Do As an Equipment Operator, you'll play a key role in excavation and underground utility projects by safely operating heavy equipment and supporting field crews in fast-paced job site environments.
Responsibilities Include:
Operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including: Dozers Loaders Skid steers Backhoes Scrapers Performing excavation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and material handling Reading grade stakes and following elevations and slopes accurately Working alongside pipe crews and laborers during utility installation Conducting daily equipment inspections and reporting mechanical issues Performing basic equipment maintenance such as fueling, greasing, and cleaning Loading trucks and moving materials around active job sites Staying aware of underground hazards, utilities, equipment traffic, and crew activity Following all OSHA and company safety requirements Assisting with labor tasks when needed to keep the project moving What We're Looking For We're looking for dependable operators who understand production, safety, and teamwork on active excavation sites.
Qualifications:
2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience in excavation, construction, or civil work Experience operating equipment such as dozers, loaders, skid steers, backhoes, and scrapers Understanding of grading, excavation, and utility work Ability to read grade stakes and follow site plans Strong safety awareness and job site communication skills Ability to work as part of a crew in changing job site conditions Valid driver's license required What It's Like Working Here This is hands-on work with a crew that takes pride in doing things right.
