C-33 Licensed Painter / Painting Division Lead AlphaBrite Home Services San Ramon, CA Job Details Full-time $66,500 - $91,500 a year 16 hours ago Qualifications Basic math Residential construction experience Plastering Project leadership Caulking Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated C-33 Licensed Painter / Painting Division Lead to oversee and execute a wide range of painting projects across residential, commercial, and structural settings. In this role, you will lead a team of painters, ensure high-quality craftsmanship, and uphold safety standards on every job site. Your expertise in construction painting techniques, surface preparation, and color application will drive project success from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your leadership skills while delivering exceptional results that transform spaces and exceed client expectations. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate painting projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining quality standards Prepare surfaces through sanding, scraping, caulking, drywall repair, and other surface preparation techniques in accordance with construction painting protocols Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and other hand or power tools with precision and safety compliance Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and color schemes to accurately execute design specifications Manage safety regulations by enforcing proper use of respiratory protection, fall protection (ladder use), and adherence to safety protocols on all sites Conduct visual color comparisons to achieve consistent color matching and finish quality across projects Oversee the maintenance of equipment such as paint sprayers, power tools, scaffolding, and ladders to ensure optimal operation and safety Skills Extensive experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Proficiency in residential and commercial painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, coating applications, drywall finishing, plastering, caulking, fixture installation, and renovation work Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to construction site operations and respiratory protection standards Skilled in surface preparation methods specific to construction painting surfaces for durability and aesthetic appeal Ability to evaluate surfaces for structural integrity before painting; experience with structural painting is a plus Familiarity with color theory for accurate visual color comparison and matching Competence in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), and scaffolding safely and effectively Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to coating coverage, material estimates; handyman experience or remodeling background is advantageous Construction site experience with an emphasis on maintenance work within renovation or remodeling projects Join our team as a C-33 Licensed Painter / Painting Division Lead if you're passionate about transforming spaces with expert craftsmanship while leading a dedicated team.
