This role involves a variety of tasks related to both residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and be able to work effectively on construction sites. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with other tradespeople. Duties Perform interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial properties. Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or applying plaster as needed. Assist in trim carpentry tasks, including installing and finishing trim work. Participate in renovation projects by building structures or modifying existing ones. Collaborate with other laborers and tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times. Operate various tools and equipment safely, including welding tools when necessary. Skills Proficient in construction painting techniques with a keen eye for detail. Experience in trim carpentry and the ability to perform basic carpentry tasks. Knowledge of renovation processes and the ability to build structures as required. Familiarity with plastering techniques for surface preparation. Basic welding skills are a plus but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively on construction sites, following safety protocols. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the trade.
