This energetic position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction painting, renovation, and maintenance while working on diverse sites. As a Painter Helper, you will assist with surface preparation, application of paint and coatings, and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will help us achieve outstanding results for our clients and contribute to the transformation of various spaces. Duties Assist with construction site preparation, including cleaning surfaces, sanding, caulking, and stucco application to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Support the application of paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray painting), and power tools to achieve smooth finishes. Prepare surfaces by interpreting technical drawings and following detailed instructions for structural painting projects. Help with the setup and breakdown of equipment such as scaffolding, ladders, and safety gear while adhering to safety regulations. Mix paints and coatings accurately based on color theory principles; perform visual color comparisons to match specifications. Follow safety protocols diligently by wearing respiratory protection and other PPE during all phases of work. Assist with fixture installation, remodeling tasks, and general handyman duties as needed to support ongoing construction or renovation projects. Qualifications Prior experience in construction painting or related fields such as remodeling or maintenance is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless), brushes, rollers, and surface preparation techniques. Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately. Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction sites, including proper use of respiratory protection and fall prevention measures like ladder use. Strong attention to detail with an eye for color matching and surface finishing quality. Good physical condition with the ability to stand, lift heavy objects, climb ladders safely, and work at heights comfortably. Basic math skills for measurements and mixing paints; experience with construction estimating is a plus. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety compliance and project completion.
