Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Residential Painter to join our team, dedicated to delivering high-quality painting services for residential properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques, renovation projects, and construction site experience. A commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a passion for craftsmanship are essential for success in this position. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer as needed for optimal paint adhesion. Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, and other tools to achieve desired results. Perform specialized painting tasks such as plastering, stucco application, and restoration work on various surfaces. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to accurately execute projects according to specifications. Install fixtures, trim carpentry, and perform renovation tasks including framing and remodeling. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope and materials required. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. Assist with masonry, concrete finishing, welding, or other related trades as necessary for comprehensive project completion. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving industrial painting or restoration work. Experience Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of commercial and construction painting techniques. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and equipment such as airless paint sprayers. Knowledge of color theory and surface preparation methods specific to residential environments. Background in construction site work including framing, carpentry (including trim carpentry), plastering, stucco application, caulking, fixture installation, and maintenance tasks. Skills in basic math for measurements and calculations necessary during project planning and execution.
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour
