Duties Prepare surfaces through sanding, scraping, caulking, drywall repair, and primer application to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and other hand tools with precision and attention to detail Use ladders, scaffolding, and power tools safely to reach high or difficult areas while adhering to all safety regulations Perform structural painting tasks such as stucco, masonry, framing, and restoration work on various building surfaces Conduct surface inspections for quality control, color matching using visual color comparison techniques, and ensure smooth finishes Maintain safety protocols by utilizing respiratory protection equipment and following all safety regulations during every phase of the job Requirements Proven experience in construction painting, including residential and commercial projects with knowledge of renovation and remodeling processes Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as plastering, drywall finishing, caulking, and fixture installation Familiarity with coating types, color theory principles, and different application methods including brush painting, roller painting, and spray techniques Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise project execution Experience working on construction sites with a strong understanding of safety regulations and site protocols Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including construction spray painting), and basic math skills for measurements and calculations Knowledge of maintenance tasks like trim carpentry, stucco application, masonry work, framing carpentry, plastering, and fixture installation is a plus Strong physical stamina to handle ladder use and working at heights safely in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a visible difference!
