Driver's License Full Job Description About Us:
Piping Systems Installations LLC is a mechanical contractor serving Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We do HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, refrigeration, industrial process piping, and fabrication. We're looking for motivated people who want to learn a skilled trade and build a long-term career with us.
The Role:
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you'll work alongside licensed journeypersons and foremen on commercial and industrial job sites, learning the trade hands-on while you complete your apprenticeship hours and classroom training.
What You'll Do:
Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining piping, fixtures, and plumbing systems. Cut, thread, join, and support pipe in a variety of materials. Read and follow blueprints, isometrics, and job specifications as you develop your skills. Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment. Keep your work area clean and safe. Follow all PSI safety policies and OSHA requirements. Complete required apprenticeship training and log your work hours.
What We're Looking For:
Willingness to learn and take direction. Reliable, punctual, and a good teammate. Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces and outdoors in all weather. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites. Ability to pass a pre-employment screening [adjust to match your policy]. Previous construction or trade experience is helpful but not required.
