We are not looking for someone who has merely assisted on a few installations. The right candidate can evaluate existing pipe conditions, prepare the line correctly, operate specialized equipment, solve field problems, and complete installations that pass final camera verification. This position is designed for a trenchless sewer expert who takes pride in doing the job correctly—not taking shortcuts. What You Will Be Responsible For Perform residential and light-commercial trenchless sewer installations. Set up and operate pipe-bursting equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare, measure, wet out, install, cure, and verify CIPP liners. Prepare pipes and apply approved coating systems according to manufacturer specifications. Complete mechanical cleaning, descaling, root removal, and pipe preparation. Interpret sewer-camera footage and identify offsets, fractures, roots, corrosion, scale, bellies, connections, and structural defects. Determine whether a line is suitable for bursting, lining, coating, repair, or replacement. Establish accurate access points, measurements, elevations, and pull distances. Complete reinstatements, transitions, cleanouts, terminations, and connections properly. Perform before-and-after camera inspections and document completed work. Protect customers' homes, landscaping, driveways, and property. Maintain equipment, tools, vehicles, and organized job sites. Lead or assist crew members while maintaining production and safety standards. Communicate job conditions, changes, and potential complications clearly. Required Plumbing Experience Applicants must have: At least 5 years of professional sewer, drain, underground utility, or trenchless installation experience . Documented hands-on experience with pipe bursting, CIPP lining, and pipe coating systems .Will need two of the three. Experience operating sewer cameras, locating equipment, cable machines, descaling equipment, hydro-jetters, and trenchless installation equipment. Strong knowledge of sewer-line preparation and why improper preparation causes installation failures. The ability to read camera footage and make condition-based recommendations. The ability to troubleshoot equipment and field conditions without constant supervision. Knowledge of proper excavation, shoring, confined-space awareness, utility protection, and jobsite safety. A valid driver's license and a safe driving record. The physical ability to perform underground utility and sewer installation work. The ability to pass required employment screening. Preferred Qualifications Male or Female Master plumber, journeyman plumber, or recognized trenchless-manufacturer training. Experience with HammerHead, Picote, MaxLiner, NuFlow, LightRay, Perma-Liner, or comparable systems. Experience with fusion equipment and HDPE pipe. Experience supervising trenchless installation crews. OSHA, confined-space, competent-person, or excavation-safety training. Experience documenting installations through photographs, videos, measurements, and written field reports. This Position Is Not a Fit for You If You Need to be trained in the fundamentals of trenchless sewer installation. Have only drain-cleaning or general plumbing experience. Cannot independently set up and complete trenchless installations. Take shortcuts with pipe preparation, curing, connections, or final verification. Resist following manufacturer specifications and documented company procedures. Leave equipment, trucks, or jobsites disorganized. Cannot communicate professionally with homeowners and coworkers. Are unreliable, frequently late, or unwilling to take responsibility for your work.
