This role is responsible for executing operational and maintenance activities that ensure safe, reliable, and environmentally compliant production. Whats the role As an Operator•Offshore Operations, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Accountabilities:

Operate offshore production facilities, utilities, and safety systems in accordance with approved procedures and permits Execute production rounds, surveillance activities, startups, shutdowns, and abnormal situation response Maintain safety critical and environmental barriers in alignment with SEMS and the SEAM Framework Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment or operational abnormalities Perform routine field maintenance and assist with corrective maintenance activities Participate in permit•to work, isolation, and lockout / tagout processes Exercise Stop Work authority and promote a strong safety culture Collaborate across disciplines to ensure safe, complaint, and reliable operations Work Location Gulf of America (Offshore) Candidates must be willing to work at any Shell offshore asset, based on business needs Work assignments may change over time to support operational requirements Work Schedule Offshore rotation: 14 days on / 14 days off Transportation provided by helicopter or boat for crew change What we need from you Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work visa Must be at least 18 years of age Must have a high school diploma or equivalent required Recent Offshore Upstream Gulf of America (GoA) experience, with current contractor experience supporting Shells Gulf of America operations Ability to speak, read, and write in English Ability to work in offshore conditions, including climbing stairs and ladders, working at heights, and working outdoors Successful completion of the Shell Operations Aptitude Test (within 5 days of submitting application) Fulfillment of asset•specific Operator competency and training requirements Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) HUET (Helicopter Underwater Egress Training) Demonstrated capability as an informal leader of safety and culture Ability to pass pre-employment medical evaluation, drug screen, and background check Ability to work on elevated platforms and grating Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) This position is safety critical and subject to applicable regulatory requirements Shell is an equal opportunity employer.
