In this role, you will be responsible for applying plaster, stucco, and other finishing materials to interior and exterior surfaces, transforming raw structures into polished, durable finishes. Your expertise will contribute to a variety of projects, including renovations, restorations, and new builds. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to high-quality craftsmanship and innovative construction solutions. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion of plaster or stucco materials Mix and apply plaster, stucco, or other finishing compounds using hand tools and power tools with precision and consistency Install rebar and metal lath for reinforced plaster applications on walls, ceilings, or exterior facades Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications and design details Use heavy equipment operation skills when necessary for site preparation or material transportation Perform concrete finishing tasks, including smoothing and texturing surfaces for aesthetic or functional purposes Conduct renovation and restoration work by repairing damaged surfaces and matching existing finishes seamlessly Requirements Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on plastering, masonry, or related trades Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, hawks, floats, and caulking guns as well as power tools like mixers and drills Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, tile laying, and metal stud framing is highly desirable Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and project timelines Experience with heavy equipment operation relevant to construction sites is a plus Excellent skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation Ability to work safely on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols and regulations Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights when necessary Join us as a Plasterer if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your expertise to exciting construction projects.
