Construction Craftsman - Pool Construction & Renovation We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and dependable Construction Craftsman to join our growing pool construction team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys working outdoors, and wants to build a long-term career in the swimming pool and construction industry. The position involves supporting the construction and renovation of residential and commercial swimming pools while developing hands-on expertise in excavation, masonry, concrete, rebar, tile, coping, liners, hydraulics, and other areas of pool construction. Every project you work on represents our company, and we take pride in delivering quality results for our customers. Key Responsibilities Pool Construction & Renovation

• Assist with preparing and laying out construction sites, including marking pool dimensions and elevations.
• Assist with excavation and grading to achieve proper pool depth, slope, drainage, and structural requirements.
• Operate and work around excavation equipment safely and effectively.
• Build and install forms using accurate measurements to establish proper dimensions and elevations.
• Perform concrete demolition and assist with pool renovation projects.
• Install and secure steel reinforcement (rebar) according to construction plans and specifications.
• Set and level concrete forms to ensure proper elevations, consistency, and finished surfaces.
• Assist with concrete, vermiculite, masonry, and plaster-related work.
• Assist with troweling and finishing pool surfaces when required.
• Install pool tile and coping with proper alignment, spacing, and attention to detail.
• Assist with liner installation, including surface preparation, measurements, and liner placement.
• Perform general construction, masonry, and renovation work as assigned. Pool Equipment & Technical Work Depending on experience and training, responsibilities may include:
• Understanding pool equipment specifications, hydraulics, and electrical requirements.
• Assisting with equipment pad installations and pool lighting.
• Performing plumbing work associated with pool renovations, water features, and spas.
• Working with ozone systems, alternative sanitizers, chlorine systems, and salt chlorine generators.
• Supporting leak detection and repair activities, including pressure testing, dye testing, and other diagnostic methods. Job Documentation & Team Responsibilities
• Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked company vehicle or truck.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with crew members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to expand technical knowledge and skills. What We're Looking For Successful candidates will have:
• Previous construction, masonry, concrete, electrical and plumbing, landscaping experience.
• Experience working with construction tools such as shovels, saws, drills, concrete mixers, and other hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, measurements, and elevations.
• Strong measuring, leveling, alignment, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physical ability to perform demanding construction work, including standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.
• Ability to regularly lift approximately 50 lbs., with occasional lifting requirements of up to 75 lbs.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a professional work environment. Preferred Qualifications The following certifications and experience are preferred but may not be required for the right candidate:

• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification
• Previous swimming pool construction or renovation experience
• Experience with concrete, masonry, excavation, rebar, tile, coping, liners, or pool equipment
• Experience with pool hydraulics, plumbing, or leak detection Don't have experience in every area listed above?
